The club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, part of the St. George Wine Club Foundation. Donations go to our parent nonprofit, Artistic Resource for Teachers and Students (A.R.T.S.), Inc. From A.R.T.S. the donations are distributed to local charities to support Arts and Educational endeavors in our community.

Doug Hamilton

Doug Hamilton is a lifelong wine fan. After a career in the food/beverage industry, he’s spending his (semi-) retirement years running, golfing, and enjoying his favorite  beverage. He and his wife of 25 years, Marianne, have overseen the Southern Utah Wine Guild since 2014.

Marianne Hamilton

Marianne Hamilton has been a  journalist for most of her adult life, and is now a fitness instructor, senior athlete, and enthusiastic wine consumer. Along with Doug, Marianne does her best to ensure that Wine Guild members actually have a name-tag at the Guild’s monthly socials.

Rick Crockett

Rick is a great friend, a pilot, and wine collector. After selling American Pool Supply he’s doing his best to be retired but family, planes, bikes, cars and houses keep him pretty busy!

Bill Starks
Prior to his retirement Bill spent 35 years helping people in Utah find jobs as the Director of Unemployment Insurance for the state. At the SG Wine Club Socials you’ll find Bill and wife Kathy a the check-in table welcoming you!

Kathy Starks

Before retiring in 2019 to St George Kathy spent almost 28 years as an accountant, financial manager and project manager with the Utah Department of Transportation. Kathy and Bill have been a great addition to the SG Wine Club Board! We are thrilled to have them both!

Jane Mankey

Jane  Mankey is originally from CA and retired from being a musical director and elementary school teacher.  She enjoys life in St. George by serving on the St. George Wine Club and Art Around the Corner boards, gives music lessons, hikes, bikes, rides backseat on their Harley, sews, knits, paints, and cooks.

Neal Mankey

Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Neal’s career involved industrial design, packaging, graphics, prototyping. He is enjoying his retirement and assisting with the SG Wine Club Socials. Neal’s latest project involves designing and building things with. his new 3d printer. Maybe a new 3d printed house is in our future!
